John Kercy is an LA-based Mixing and Recording Engineer renowned for his versatility and expertise. With a diverse client base, he has lent his talents to multiple Grammy-nominated projects across the Pop and R&B genres. Notably, in 2022, John clinched a Grammy for Best Progressive R&B Album with Lucky Daye’s “Table for Two” .

Throughout his career, John has collaborated with an impressive array of clients, ranging from Oscar and Grammy Award-winning Producer D'Mile and Multi-platinum Producer Seven Thomas to acclaimed artists such as Lil Wayne, Disclosure, Mali Music, Normani Kordei, Jessie Reyez, India Shawn, and more. He has established himself as the go-to Mix Engineer for esteemed artists like Giveon, Lucky Daye, Chiild, and Victoria Monét.

John’s engineering prowess has earned him recognition, including a nomination under Record of the Year for Khalid's “Talk” in 2020. Additionally, John was recognized for winning Best Engineered Album, Non-classical for Victoria Monet's "Jaguar II" at the 66th annual Grammy Awards. He has also mixed several singles that have graced Billboard's Hot 100, including Giveon’s 3X Platinum single "Heartbreak Anniversary" .

Known for his dynamic mixes characterized by a unique use of effects, tailored vocal textures, and midrange clarity, John Kercy doesn’t confine artists' ideas to a box; instead, he allows their work to inspire him, creating a distinctive sonic world for the music and project to thrive in.

In 2023, along with Grammy and Oscar Award Winning Producer D’Mile, and Music Executive Natalie Prospere, John became a co-founder for a new music label venture, with Disney Music Group, Andscape and Venta Music.
